The Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) recently highlighted The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies for its leadership in fostering healing and connection across the Jewish human service sector.

In the article, How “Holding Space” Became a Post–Oct. 7 Mantra of Grief and Comfort by Andrew Silow-Carroll (JTA, October 6, 2025), The Network’s Holding Space series is recognized among national initiatives helping Jewish professionals process grief, navigate complexity, and strengthen resilience amid ongoing global challenges.

Led by Tricia Stern, LCSW, MPH, Senior Vice President of Clinical Practice, The Network’s Holding Space sessions provide a compassionate environment for human service professionals to pause, connect, reflect, and support one another.

“Amid this turmoil, the demands of leadership, caregiving, and showing up for others remain relentless,” the feature quotes The Network. “That’s why The Network is reaffirming its commitment to holding space for you — to pause, connect, reflect, and support one another.”
