As you know, JFNA’s health and long-term care objectives are a major area of focus for their Washington Office and the network of State Government Affairs/Community Relations Council Directors across the nation. Normally, the Summit has been reserved for members of JFNA’s Health and Long-Term Care Committee as well as invited guests. However, JFNA wants to ensure Jewish family service and vocational agency leaders have a place at the table given this consequential time for health and aging programs that Jewish communal partner agencies are reliant upon to serve the most vulnerable.
- A deep understanding of key legislative and administrative proposals that will impact Jewish communal providers and the consumers that they serve
- A keen sense of how you, as a leader, can position your community to capitalize on fundamental changes to the healthcare landscape such as emerging social determinants of health and accountable care organizations
- A focus on public sector health funding opportunities for Jewish communal agencies
