Biennially, The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) hosts the Health Summit, a gathering of volunteer and professional leaders. This year’s gathering, “Celebrating Health Innovation & Anticipating Challenges in a Turbulent Time” will take place in Washington DC, on May 7th and 8th. The roster of invitees includes current and former elected & appointed officials and a cadre of health & aging thought leaders.

As you know, JFNA’s health and long-term care objectives are a major area of focus for their Washington Office and the network of State Government Affairs/Community Relations Council Directors across the nation. Normally, the Summit has been reserved for members of JFNA’s Health and Long-Term Care Committee as well as invited guests. However, JFNA wants to ensure Jewish family service and vocational agency leaders have a place at the table given this consequential time for health and aging programs that Jewish communal partner agencies are reliant upon to serve the most vulnerable.

During the two days of the Summit, you can expect to walk away with a stronger base of knowledge in the following areas:
  • A deep understanding of key legislative and administrative proposals that will impact Jewish communal providers and the consumers that they serve
  • A keen sense of how you, as a leader, can position your community to capitalize on fundamental changes to the healthcare landscape such as emerging social determinants of health and accountable care organizations
  • A focus on public sector health funding opportunities for Jewish communal agencies
You will be able to find an up-to-date agenda on the registration page. Please join JFNA and NJHSA, a proud co-sponsor, at the Summit by registering here and then book your hotel within the discounted room block.
Should you have any questions regarding the Summit, please contact Reuben Rotman, CEO, NJHSA or Jonathan Westin, Sr. Director, Health Initiatives. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to welcoming you to Washington, DC this May.
