Join Dr. Dan Shapiro, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, to discuss how professional staff can help parents support their children during the covid pandemic. Dr. Dan will briefly review effects of the pandemic on children then provide a specific cognitive-behavioral therapy approach for working with parents and children during this challenging time. In the end, the pandemic can be seen as an opportunity for families to learn and practice collaborative problem-solving skills. As Dr. Dan says, “A pandemic is a terrible thing to waste.”
