This meeting will be structured as a Zoom webinar and will feature an engaging discussion on the topic of Conflicts of Interest and Confidentiality, as an outgrowth from the presentation that was presented at the NJHSA 2019 Annual Conference in Atlanta.
The presenter for this webinar will be Erik Lindauer, a member of the NJHSA Board, a long time lay leader of several non-profit boards and an attorney with a focused practice in non-profit governance.
This interactive webinar will help NJHSA member agency lay leadership participants:
• Recognize potential conflicts of interest or other adverse positions
• Understand the role and benefits of, a thoughtful formal conflict of interest policy
• Educate their Boards on the duties of confidentiality and their relationship to conflict management
Background material, including representative policies, will be made available electronically for review prior to the scheduled program date.
