Transgender Equity in Your Jewish Organization
Welcome Keshet to this month’s DEI NETGroup! Keshet will lead a session focused on Transgender Equity in the Jewish Workplace. Keshet will identify and prepare leaders and decision-makers at all levels to counter some of the common biases and barriers that impact transgender and nonbinary people in the workplace. We will be able to learn together how to identify some of the most common ideological and cultural biases that lead to marginalization of transgender and nonbinary people, common practices and procedures that can present barriers to transgender and nonbinary people accessing participation, employment, and leadership in many institutions, and participants will leave the meeting with concrete tools to build equitable policies, procedures, and interactions.
