We hope you all are enjoying these dog days of summer. It is HOT outside! For our meeting on Tuesday, September 20th at 1:00pm ET, we want to talk about lots of different challenges facing us as development professionals. Therefore, we have decided to create 6 break out rooms to talk about the various  challenges. You will choose which challenge is most relevant to you and join that break out room.

1. Staff Burnout
How do we as managers help our staff and ourselves through this difficult time?

2. Ground Hog Day
Each year we do a Friends campaign and a Gala (for example)  – how do we shake things up?

3. Engagement in a hybrid
world
Some people are in person and others on zoom. How do we maintain engagement during meetings/programs that are hybrid?”

4. Board Members
What are strategies we can use to get them to increase their gifts?

5. Finding meaningful work for your lay leaders
Do you staff a committee and struggle to find ways that they can help?

6. Other
You name your challenge and go into a breakout room with others to share ideas/hear theirs.
