We will welcome our new cochair, Bonnie Schwartzbaum, Director of the Kosher Food Bank at JCS of South Florida. As you may remember, Beth Englezos, Manager of Hunger Prevention at Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County, left her job in January.
Then we want to discuss the journeys our pantries have gone through during Covid to now.
How have your operations changed in terms of:
- Staffing
- clients
- volunteer utilization
- procurement
What are your lessons learned?
We have asked Matthew Bolton of the JFCS Pittsburgh Squirrel Hill Food Pantry and Belinda Lasky of the Alpert JFS Food Pantry in West Palm Beach, Florida to start us off and let us know about their lessons learned. Then we want to hear from all of you.
