We are happy to highlight a National Network Member organization, Footsteps, whose mission is to support and affirm individuals and families who have left, or are contemplating leaving, insular ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities in their quest to lead self-determined lives. I have attached their recommended resource guide to understanding this population.
Joining us will be Naomi Moskowitz, Director of Economic Empowerment, who will give us an overview of Footsteps. We will learn about who they serve, the programs they offer, and why cultural competency for their constituency is vital. Of course, there will be time for Q&A.
