For our next ‘Taste of Techniques’, we will be exploring Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment model for children and teens impacted by trauma and their parents/caregivers. Research shows that TF-CBT successfully resolves a wide array of emotional and behavioral difficulties associated with single, multiple and complex trauma experiences.
From JFS Charlotte, Rachel Green, LCSW, Director of Programs and Services and Sara Scheibner, LCSW, Clinical Therapist, will be providing an overview of TF-CBT as well as some examples of how components of the model can be implemented.
