Many of you have requested information on how to best provide evidence-based individual therapy for children, teens, and parents.
We are excited to announce that at our next meeting we will have the opportunity to learn about the Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) Model, a system designed to help bring evidence-based practices, resources and clinical tools in a user friendly and practical format to mental health providers working with youth. Dr. Allison Love, PracticeWise Training Manager, will provide a demo of the MAP model. Rachel Green, MSW, LCSW, Director of Programs and Services, JFS Charlotte, and David Finke, PhD, CEO, JFCS Louisville will also share their experiences implementing MAP.
In 2024, The Network will be offering MAP training and implementation support for member agencies. An RFP will be issued on January 2, 2024 for those interested in applying for this opportunity. Attending this demonstration meeting will allow for a better understanding of the MAP system, its effectiveness, what is involved in implementation, and consideration of how this model might be a good fit for your agency.
