National Webinar Series: Nonprofit Security Grant Application Workshop
This special NSGP Grant Application Workshop will feature an overview of the application process, step-by-step review, and guidance through the various components and sections of the application, as well as insight and tips from security professionals and successful applicants. Topics of discussion will include:

  • Conducting your Facility Vulnerability Assessment
  • Demystifying the Authorized Equipment List
  • Navigating the Investment Justification
  • Tips on Point Scoring & Common Pitfalls

This webinar is part of a series being hosted by the Secure Community Network (SCN), in partnership with The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, on the NSGP and focusing on: its status, a review of recent application guidance, and considerations for planning efforts that can be undertaken now, in advance of any grant announcement.

The NSGP, administered by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), was designed to improve security at nonprofit organizations by providing funds primarily for physical security enhancements, planning, as well as training and exercises.

FEMA has announced that available funding will total $180 million for FY 2021, doubling the 2020 grant cycle funding of $90 million. Join us to learn how you can best position your organization to take advantage of these critical funds.
