Case for Giving on Impact of COVID-19

The Network is pleased to share a document which has been developed in an effort to capture the impact of COVID-19 on the member agencies of our Network, and the communities they serve, and to elevate our Network’s Case for Giving among the many “asks” that are out there. Much of the content of this document is the result of an analysis of a financial impact survey which was administered in March, as well as from anecdotal feedback which has come forth from a series of meetings we have convened with the agencies as the pandemic continued to evolve. Of particular note are the case stories which were provided by several member agencies. Thank you all for your contributions to this important effort.

I hope this document can serve as a resource for agencies to use locally. Please feel free to edit and adapt to meet your needs and insert your own agency data to reflect the impact you are seeing locally and the services your agency is providing in response. We will also post the document on the home page of the NJHSA website and will be sharing with funders and with the membership of the Jewish Communal Emergency Pandemic Coalition.

Thank you, in advance, for any additional thoughts you might have regarding this document.  We very much see this a dynamic resource which will be updated over time as the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve.
