February Offerings

The Network is offering a variety of calls and webinars this month. There is something for just about everyone. A few of the offerings are designed for member agency professionals wishing to further engage with peers in profession-specific affinity groups. Please visit the Members Only section of the Network website for registration links. Additionally, there are two new initiatives being launched.

1. Project Kavod Initiative
JFS Seattle and NJHSA invite you to a webinar on Strengthening the Jewish Foundation of your Agency. Interested in exploring ways to bring to light the Jewish values which guide your agency? Looking for ways to educate your staff, board and volunteers on your agency’s identity as a Jewish human service provider? Do you find yourself struggling to make the “Jewish connection” a meaningful one for your key stakeholders? If these issues intrigue you, please join us for an exploratory webinar to learn more about the Project Kavod initiative, a unique Jewish educational program at JFS Seattle, and consider if this type of effort might be a good fit for your agency. With potential funding support, NJHSA and JFS Seattle could work with you to bring this Jewish education initiative to your Jewish human service agency.

2. Leading Edge’s Employee Engagement Initiative
We are excited to invite you to participate in the 2019 Leading Edge Employee Experience Survey! The purpose of the survey is to give you insight into your employees’ experiences at work, and to provide you with information and tools to help your organization become an even better place to work. The survey focuses on a wide range of topics including employee experience with their teams, leadership, and internal communication, among others. You will receive access to detailed reports that fully protect the confidentiality of your employees while revealing important themes about your workplace culture.

The Leading Edge Employee Experience Survey is an annual survey offered each Spring. This year it will launch in May and will give your employees a two-week window to provide valuable feedback to you and your organization. If you’d like to participate, please review the Memorandum of Understanding and fill out the requested information by March 30th. Please direct questions to programs@leadingedge.org.
