The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies stands united in expressing its profound sorrow and deepest condolences to the worldwide Muslim community following the horrific massacres in New Zealand. As providers of human services, the volunteer and professional leadership of Network member agencies know first hand the life altering impact which follows mass shootings. We also affirm that places of worship must serve as sanctuaries of peace and safety for all who seek to practice their religion. The Network and its agencies strive each day to ensure the dignity of all who seek our services and we will continue to work to ensure that the members of the Muslim community can turn to The Network for comprehensive, caring and impactful support. We will continue to ensure that the Jewish values which guide our service delivery inform our hope that we may all one day live in a world of peace and respect for all.
