Sharsheret has joined the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies (NJHSA) as an Affiliate Member. In joining NJHSA, Sharsheret will become an active participating agency with all NJHSA offerings, including its Affinity Groups, conferences and special initiatives. Affiliate Membership is a newer category of membership for organizations that work closely with NJHSA and its member agencies, but are not structured as local service provider agencies.
“We are excited to officially join this esteemed Network of Jewish communal organizations,” said Sharsheret CEO Elana Silber. “Collaborating with NJHSA, we will work together to increase support services for women and families living and at risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer and advance critical, lifesaving cancer education programs for the broader Jewish community from coast to coast.”
Reuben Rotman, NJHSA President & CEO, noted that “Each year, Sharsheret brings a wealth of comprehensive resources and educational offerings to thousands of individuals and families living with breast or ovarian cancer. In joining NJHSA, the opportunity to partner and connect with Jewish human service agencies throughout the US increases their impact and helps to significantly extend the range of services that Network member agencies are able bring to their communities.”
