Network CEOs & EDs,
NJHSA understands that case managers, also referred to as care managers, work with a variety of service areas: older adults/refugee services/disabilities services/financial assistance, refugees. While some have formal training and licensure, others did not receive formal and explicit training for their craft before joining your team. Many have enjoyed past “learning on the job” experiences, yet still require additional training and further development. NJHSA would like to develop a case/care management curriculum and training that will meet your agency’s professional development standards. Graduates would be awarded an NJHSA certification upon completion.
The Network’s Center for Innovation and Research (NCIR) is planning to subsidize this comprehensive training, either fully or partially, depending on the feedback we receive from this survey.
