Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)
Early next year, funds will be available from the Department of Homeland Security under the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) to protect faith-based and other communal institutions. The federal grant process is highly competitive and can be quite complex for the uninitiated. Join JFNA on Monday, November 29th at noon ET for a webinar on this crucial subject, which will focus on key preliminary requirements. It is the first in a series of activities about how to navigate the NSGP grant program opportunity that will include experts such as FEMA grant program managers and our partner the Secure Community Network (SCN). Feel free to invite other Jewish and non-Jewish local partners to participate. This event will be held in conjunction with #ShineALight, a national initiative to spotlight Jewish pride and the dangers of antisemitism in all its forms. Later webinars will focus on the technical aspects of completing the grant application. To register, click here.
