Thank you to the nearly 1,000 people who registered to attend Jewish Federations webinar conversation on the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Healthcare. Speakers included Rabbi Menachem Creditor, who shared ways to think about the issue from a Jewish lens, and expert speakers from the National Women’s Law Center, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, National Council of Jewish Women, and Hadassah, who shared information on state law developments, their potential impacts on women’s health and health providers, and how individuals and organizations can be active in their communities on these issues. The full implications of this Supreme Court Decision remain to be seen and Jewish Federations will continue to support our local Federations, JCRCs, Jewish Family Services, and other Human Services agencies in their work.
