The Network is pleased to recognize Elana Frank, Founder and CEO of the Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF), who has been named one of five inaugural winners of the Grinspoon Amber Awards. JFF is a member agency of The Network.
Elana Frank has more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, including roles with the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the Kfar Hassidim Youth Village in Israel, and the Jewish Fertility Foundation.
Her personal experience with infertility—paired with beginning her journey in Israel, where fertility treatments are free—inspired her to help others facing similar challenges. She observed that the high cost of infertility treatment, along with a lack of education and limited access to care, posed significant obstacles within the Jewish community.
Motivated by these barriers, Elana rallied community support and founded the Jewish Fertility Foundation. Her work has received national attention through awards and public speaking engagements.
Elana lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, three sons, and their dog, Magnus.
