Led by Dr. Shari Kim, PhD, CCDC, a trauma psychologist specializing in victimization and recovery, this virtual workshop will help participants:

  • Define trafficking locally and globally

  • Identify five major types of trafficking

  • Recognize psychological tactics like brainwashing, trauma bonds, and Stockholm Syndrome

  • Understand barriers that prevent victims from leaving

  • Assess if someone has been trafficked

  • Develop trauma-informed treatment plans

  • Explore Post-Traumatic Growth in the recovery process
