The Network congratulates Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey (JFCS) on an exciting new chapter in leadership.
Beginning July 14, 2025, JFCS will welcome Evan Hochberg as its new Chief Executive Officer. Evan brings a distinguished background in Jewish communal service, most recently as Associate Vice President and Deputy Director for Israel and Overseas at the Jewish Federations of North America. His leadership has helped drive major initiatives, including a $9 million campaign supporting the Aliyah of over 3,000 Ethiopians to Israel, and advocacy on behalf of Holocaust survivors through the Claims Conference and World Jewish Restitution Organization.
This transition comes as JFCS prepares to honor retiring CEO Susan Greenbaum, who is making Aliyah after years of dedicated service. Susan will be recognized at the JFCS Annual Meeting on June 30 at 6:30 PM.
Reflecting on her time with JFCS, Susan shared:
“It has been the greatest privilege of my career to serve this community through JFCS. I am confident that Evan’s leadership will carry forward our mission with strength and heart. His passion for Jewish values and community service is exactly what JFCS needs for its next chapter.”
We join JFCS in celebrating both a remarkable legacy and a bright future ahead.
