The Network was proud to co-convene an Interfaith Hill Day on June 12th, alongside our valued partners at Lutheran Services in America, Catholic Charities USA, MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, and the National Council of Jewish Women to advocate for the protection of Medicaid and SNAP.

We were joined by 45 leaders from 14 states, including 21 representatives from Network member agencies. Together, we held more than 50 meetings with Republican Congressional offices, urging lawmakers to reject proposed cuts to these critical programs currently under discussion in reconciliation negotiations.

Our member agencies see the consequences of these policy decisions every day, as they serve those most impacted by poverty, hunger, and limited access to care. We’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our faith-based partners to defend the safety net that protects our most vulnerable neighbors.
