Looking to better understand the connection between music and brain health? Don’t miss an engaging and interactive Gray Matters workshop, The Powerful Impact of Music on the Brain, happening Wednesday, July 16 from 1–2:30pm at Jewish Family Service (6555 West Maple Road, West Bloomfield).
Led by Jody Conradi Stark, Ph.D., MT-BC, music therapist and educator, and Jeremy Crosmer, cellist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, this free in-person event will explore how music affects our emotions, cognition, and overall well-being. Attendees will gain insight into the science behind music’s influence and enjoy live performance demonstrations that bring the topic to life.
