In moments of crisis—both personal and global—community matters more than ever.
As our world grapples with intensifying conflict and unrest, The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies stands beside each of you. We recognize the emotional toll that recent events have taken: Israel’s targeted response to Iranian nuclear threats and the wave of missile attacks on civilian areas; shocking political violence in Minnesota; and protests and raids across the U.S. that are compounding widespread anxiety and fear.
These events are not abstract headlines. They are deeply personal for many of our members and staff. And amid this turmoil, the demands of leadership, caregiving, and showing up for others remain relentless. That’s why The Network is reaffirming its commitment to holding space for you—to pause, connect, reflect, and support one another.
What’s Available to You Right Now:
-
Network Member Dashboard – A space to exchange resources, ask questions, and engage in real time with colleagues across the Network.
-
NETGroups – Connect through peer-led, role-alike groups that foster shared learning and solidarity.
-
NCC Office Hours – Drop in with your communications questions or ideas every other Tuesday from 1–2 PM EST.
-
CEO/COO Check-In Chats – Weekly leadership conversations held Wednesdays from 3–4 PM EST. (Email info@networkjhsa.org for access.)
We also lift up our Israeli member organizations—Israel Elwyn, JDC Israel, and NATAL—who are leading extraordinary crisis responses on the ground. We are thinking of our Israeli colleagues, those with family in the region, and all members feeling the ripple effects of conflict across the Middle East.
Many North American Network agencies have mobilized in meaningful ways to provide:
-
Support to Israelis currently in North America;
-
Outreach for North Americans who are in Israel for travel, Birthright, or Federation programs;
-
Resources for Jewish communal professionals navigating their own uncertainty while supporting others;
-
Staffing support and care for Jewish camps relying on Israeli counselors affected by the conflict.

Plus: Drop-Ins for Hebrew Speakers
Every other Thursday | 11 AM–12 PM EST
A casual, supportive gathering space for Hebrew-speaking professionals.
Finally, we’re proud to share that The Network is also taking action on the national stage. Just last week, we co-led an Interfaith Hill Day in Washington, D.C., alongside partners including Catholic Charities USA, MAZON, and NCJW. Together with leaders from 14 states—including 21 from Network member agencies—we met with more than 50 Congressional offices to advocate for the protection of Medicaid and SNAP. The Network was not just represented—we were leading.
We know how much you are holding. Please let us hold space for you.
