In her role, Jenna drives the company’s people strategy, fostering an inclusive culture that empowers employees to thrive and contribute to AlertMedia’s mission of helping organizations keep their people safe.
With nearly two decades of experience leading talent operations and building high-performing teams, Jenna oversees all aspects of the employee experience, including global talent acquisition, development, and retention. Her leadership supports AlertMedia’s rapid growth from its Austin, Texas headquarters as well as its expanding international presence in LATAM and EMEA.
Before joining AlertMedia, Jenna served as Chief People Officer at HungerRush and held senior HR leadership roles at Capital Group and General Mills. She earned a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR) from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a specialization in Human Resources Management.
Jenna resides in Austin, Texas with her husband, Michael, and two children, Zoe and Leo. She grew up in the vibrant Jewish community of Cleveland, Ohio, where she was heavily involved in her local synagogue and BBYO chapter, and she continues to be involved in the Jewish community through the Shalom Austin JCC. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring and coaching the next generation of HR leaders, traveling, and baking with her kids.

Zach Balod leads AlertMedia’s Strategic Partnerships Program, where he’s responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling high-impact partner relationships that expand AlertMedia’s reach and accelerate customer success.
Over the past 10 years at AlertMedia, Zach has focused on helping organizations around the world transform how they monitor for threats, prepare for emergencies, and communicate during critical events. His experience spans a wide range of industries—including nonprofit sectors with a strong emphasis on faith-based organizations, where he’s helped modernize emergency response strategies to better protect people and assets.
Zach’s deep understanding of emergency response and communication strategies have made him a trusted advisor to security leaders, crisis management teams, and executives navigating complex threat environments. In his current role, Zach is focused on building strategic partnerships that amplify AlertMedia’s mission. He is passionate about connecting organizations with the right tools, people, and insights to respond faster and smarter in moments that matter most.
