Canadian executives from Network member agencies convened in Montreal this week for an in-person retreat focused on the shifting funding landscape for human services in Canada, as well as the continued rise in antisemitism and its direct impact on the Jewish human service sector.

Participants engaged in dialogue with special guests — Maxyne Finkelstein, President of the Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation of Montreal, and Emanuelle Amar, Director of Policy and Research at the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) — to inform future priorities and strategic alignment.

The Network proudly supports 19 member agencies across Canada, delivering services spanning mental health, child welfare, workforce development, resettlement, disability support, housing, and comprehensive older adult care.

The retreat was planned and hosted by The Network’s Montreal-based member agencies: Agence Ometz, Cummings Centre, JEM, Les Maisons Kehilla, and Zera Café.
