On Friday, May 23 at 6:15 PM ET, community members will gather virtually to honor the lives of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, who were tragically murdered in Washington, D.C., as they left a Jewish event. The attack, carried out by an antisemitic gunman, has deeply shaken the Jewish and interfaith communities.

Organized as a space for reflection and healing, the virtual vigil will include Shabbat candle lighting and brief reflections from members of the Young Women’s Impact Network (YWIN). Sarah, in addition to her role at the Israeli Embassy, was a cherished member of YWIN in D.C., and her loss is profoundly felt.

This gathering offers an opportunity for collective mourning and solidarity in the face of hate. All are welcome to attend, and registration is required to join.
