We’re proud to share that Linda Blumberg, Vice President of Development at the Network, recently presented at the Jewish Federations of North America’s (JFNA) Compassion in Action: Advancing Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed (PCTI) Care for Older Adults Training Workshop in Washington, DC.
Linda co-presented alongside Daryna Marchenko-Bernhardt, Technology and Volunteer Coordinator at CJE SeniorLife, and representatives from The Blue Card. Their session focused on the groundbreaking impact of using technology to reduce social isolation among Holocaust survivors and other older adults—highlighting our Network’s National Network Program and its partnership with Uniper Care.
The presentation emphasized the power of a PCTI approach in fostering connection, dignity, and independence among aging clients. It also spotlighted the success of the Uniper platform in delivering bilingual, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed support through interactive virtual programming.
We’re grateful to JFNA for hosting this vital workshop and to our colleagues at CJE SeniorLife and The Blue Card for their partnership in advancing person-centered care.
