The Shomer Collective is once again bringing together leaders and practitioners for its annual online Convening—a unique space to connect, reflect, and reimagine what an improved end-of-life culture can look like.

Each year, the Convening draws hundreds of highly engaged participants across Jewish communal life, chaplaincy, education, healthcare, social work, and end-of-life care. This year, we are asking a bold and urgent question:

Where do we find care when systems fall short for those facing death — and what new possibilities might emerge when we talk about them Jewishly?

The 2025 Convening will feature inspiring keynotes, opportunities for networking, and interactive sessions designed to spark new ideas and strengthen community connections. Participants will also have access to a peer directory, offering ongoing opportunities to connect with colleagues across the end-of-life field.
